How to start using the application?
1st step: Creating a user
After downloading the app, you will be asked to create a user account. You will be asked to register with an email address or phone number. You will also be asked to enter your name and username, you can also add a profile picture and a description, which can be changed from the application settings at any time. Congratulations! You now have an account of your own!
2nd step: Create a group profile or join one
Next you will be asked to choose between following as an individual profile and joining a group later, joining a group your friends have made or creating your own for them to join. If you choose to join an existing group you will be asked if you give the app permission to access your contacts, this will automatically detect if anyone in your phonebook has a group that you can join.

If you choose to join an existing group you will be asked if you give the app permission to access your contacts, this will automatically detect if anyone in your phonebook has a group that you can join. On the other hand, if you choose to create the group on your own, you will have to choose a name for the group, a profile picture and a description, which you can change later. You will be able to have two types of group, one where only people can join by invitation and another option which will be public, where everyone can join. Once you have decided this you can send invitations to whoever you want. Now you can start enjoying Grouppsy!
How do the groups work?
You will be able to do different things in the groups you join, but this will depend on whether the group is private or public. In private groups you will have a kind of joint account with your friends. You will have followers from both individual accounts and groups, and you will be able to follow them as well.
In these private group accounts you can share your experiences by posting videos and photos, but especially panoramic photos where you can show everything that is happening around you and save it for your memories. Every month all the panoramic photos of the group will be collected and a kind of video will be created. In addition to this you will be able to send messages to the group and make calls or video calls. This is still a very limited version, more updates will come later and will bring new features.
Public group accounts will be called collectives, where the topic will be specified. For example, a person creates a group about cars and there they will talk only about that topic or those dictated by the creator of the group. In these groups you can do everything previously said about private groups but with more security. Within this type of group there may be a type where only the creator and the people he chooses can speak. This will serve for information-only groups or so that there is not an overload of messages.
Who can see what you post?
When uploading posts, both photos and videos, you can decide whether you want your groups, only a specific group or the entire Grouppsy community to see them. You can post to your individual account, to the account shared with your friends both with each other and for everyone to see, and to the collectives for members only or for everyone to see. These publications can be liked, commented and shared.
